Kate has been in real estate since 1986 and has resided in Wainfleet all of her life. Her family currently lives along the shores of Lake Erie and have a true appreciation for the beauty of the Niagara Region.
Kate’s background includes an Honours B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, a wealth of experience in customer service and sales and a true love of people.
Her energy is hard to compete with and she proves herself on complete and satisfying customer service. Her greatest compliment is repeat business and referrals.
Kate is dedicated to the advancement of our area and volunteers on the City of Port Colborne’s Economic Development Committee.
Don’t be surprised by Nicki’s youthful appearance, she has been in real estate all her life. Her first appointment was as a newborn in a carrier, and she is the only 3-year-old she knew with a toy fax machine, and business cards at the age of 8.
Nicki is a third generation REALTOR®, following in the footsteps of her mother, Kate and grandfather, Nick Ostryhon.
She has an honours B.A. from the University of Ottawa, and extensive marketing experience through her work experience with promotional experience and as Production Manager for Ottawa Fashion Week from 2010-2013.
She received her real estate license in 2012 working closely with Kate to learn the skills of the trade. These skills coupled with her tech-savvy and youthful energy allow her to easily navigate the ever-changing market. In 2018, Nicki earned her Broker’s Designation and Re/Max Hall of Fame.
Nicki is passionate about volunteering and giving back to her community, she volunteers with Port Cares on their Board of Directors. She also sits on the Niagara Association of Realtor’s MLS and Technology Committee.
Eric was born and raised in Port Colborne and attended St. Therese and Our Lady of Good Council until 11 years of age when he moved to the city of Welland where he eventually graduated from Notre Dame College School. Eric obtained a diploma from Humber College and worked in the construction industry for a number of years.
Eric has always been interested in real estate. Eric’s parents, Frank and Donna Panetta, stressed the importance of being a home owner from a very young age. In 2012, he purchased his first home with Kate Ostryhon-Lumsden and Nicki Lumsden – and successfully renovated his home into a rental property and started his dealings with a number of tenants throughout the years.
Eric has been family friends with Kate and Nicki for over a decade and after years of encouraging to get his real estate license, he has officially obtained his license in February of 2020.With a great construction background, being a seasoned homeowner and landlord for several years, combined with his genuine and energetic personality, Eric is a perfect fit for the already reputable and successful team: Niagara Sold by Kate – Re/Max Welland Realty
Rianna has lived in the Niagara Region for most of her life and loves taking advantage of all of the unique offerings of the area.
She has an Honours B.A. from Brock University and a post graduate certificate from Fleming College; her professional background is in arts and culture management. Rianna has worked with a variety of arts and cultural organizations throughout Southern Ontario from artist run centres to regional museums and galleries in a variety of roles from administration through to collections management. Rianna is following in the footsteps of her grandfather, aunt and cousin by joining the profession. As a part time job in University, Rianna worked along side Kate and Nicki as their office assistant; she is looking forward to joining them now as a licensed sales representative.
Rianna is meticulous in her attention to detail and is looking forward to applying her creative skill set, background in customer service and marketing and administrative skills to the real estate field.
Client Care Manager
Claire Stamper brings to the Niagara Sold by Kate Team a varied skill set with more than 30 years of extensive work experience, primarily focused in the manufacturing sectors of pharmaceuticals, automotive, food packaging/processing, and solar panels.
She has held a number of key progressive leadership roles in the disciplines of project management, administration, sales and marketing, education and training, human resources, business process development as well as Customer Service.
Despite a brief retirement, and novice to the dynamic world of real estate, Claire has demonstrated that her background along with her depth and breadth of work experiences, are clearly transferable making Claire a solid contributor to our Team. In her current role, Claire provides strong and reliable back office support to the Niagara Sold by Kate Team and is most passionate about addressing our clients’ needs with the highest level of professionalism at all times.
A former resident of several major North American cities, Claire now lives in the quaint town of Port Colborne with her husband and growing menagerie of four-legged rescued friends. Claire is the proud mother of three sons and grandmother to two girls. Hobbies include painting, gardening, glamping, and travel.
